Never understand that, dogs..maybe I can see their point but not cats. I have a soft spot for ginger tom’s, the last one I had was the kindest most gentle cat I ever had (he was a stray too). and actually would love a jet black cat as I have heard they aren’t popular anymore due to not being as photogenic for social media

I have heard how divine gingers are....a close friend here had the most beautiful cat called Toby....orange and magnificent and funny. Left her stranded in a tree after bolting down and knocking the ladder out after she went to rescue him. ha ha ha.....

they are cheeky and confident cats. My boy never even showed his claws for the years I had him, would not hurt a fly...such a gentle lovely soul. And I hope it isn’t true about black cats, but I will join you in adopting all of them.

I'm in for another 24, please!
A couple of years ago I did a DNA test through Ancestry.com and periodically they send through updates. It turns out that they've identified that my ancestors likely came from North Wales! This is every intriguing to me. My updated results are as follows:
England, Wales & Northwestern Europe = 76%
Germanic Europe = 20%
Ireland & Scotland = 4%

I'm checking in for my next 24. After our cat, Lucky died last June, we went back to the Animal Shelter where we had adopted Luck Luck 20 years prior. Well, we waited till that October to adopt ....
Our Olive kitty is our first ever Tuxedo. What a really, really smart one we've got!! As anyone who adopts knows .... it's so hard to leave with only 1.
My parents (in their active 80's p, up in Northern Idaho (on 10/20 acres) adopted 2 cats from the Sandpoint Shelter last month. I'm SO very happy for both of them. And those cats will be pampered, feed, & "spoiled rotten"!! Like all our furry family members before them.
My sister will take over when that time comes when my folks aren't here... I only share that for those who might think WHY are those old people getting cats?! Because they have ❤️❤️ to give & the finances to support them

TicToc, I think it’s a great idea! I love cats, they bring so much fun and pleasure and such good company.
Bobbie, I was like your parents! Went to the shelter for one kitty and came away with two! Well they’d never been apart, I wasn’t going to separate them! They’re awesome and one is very mischievous.

10:23 pm and checking in for another 24. My husband and I went to my daughter’s opening night tonight, and it was excellent! She is Belle in Disenchanted, it is the story that tells what the princesses really think. I laughed for 90 minutes straight.
Looking forward to the weekend, going to see the show two more times over the weekend, there are only five shows, so want to take advantage of it while I can.
Congrats to all celebrating a milestone today.
