Hi everyone

Checking in for 24 hours from an invigorating windy morning in Oz.
It’s 7am and the wind is howling.
I organised a phone counselling session for later today, so hopefully I can start to work through some things and start dealing with grief and loss and God only knows what else lies underneath because I’ve covered so much up with alcohol over the years...
Taking one day at a time . Actually it’s one moment at a time these days.

Very fatigued lately, but that will pass. I think being tired is my biggest relapse trigger because my thinking gets so crazy, not just the not-getting-nearly-enough-done part, but all the guilt about it ! The ‘shoulds’ that make me want to run away. All is well and stuff can wait till I feel better. So what if I did the minimum today? I made it through without picking up. Good enough
