Happy Friday, sober friends.
I had plans to meet up with a friend for a play date but she cancelled. So I am taking that as an opportunity to do absolutely NOTHING all day but hang out with my toddler. Ok, I did a quick workout and the bills and budgeting this morning but that’s it for me.
I think I am going to rent a movie - “All the Money in the World” when he does his quiet time.
In for 24 more.

Okay I am as beautified as I can get and ready to enjoy a lovely meal with lovely company. Yes there will be alcohol (lots of it) but I don't touch the stuff and it's a relief before I even go knowing I will wake up bright and free in the morning.
Of course I am driving to make doubly sure but in my heart I know that my life is exponentially better without booze.

24 please! Been in a lovely mood today. The rain is finally gone and things are drying out. Sunny skies, no hangover, a job I enjoy, a supportive boyfriend of 6 years whom I love, a growing sober network, two dog children, a far away but loving family... I am blessed. The next goal is to quit smoking in time for summer camp on June 4th. Congrats to you milestoners! What a great day to be sober and alive <3
