Yes, we did get some rain today, started about 3:30pm. Not really that much rain here where we live. Our thoughts are with those in the fire burned areas, which is mind boggling in size. I guess we'll see tomorrow morning on the news.

My husband was out last night and after I got the kids to bed, I sat in the living room and realised it was the first time I've been alone in my house for well over a month. I realised I could do whatever I liked, watch whatever I want on tv. In the old days I would have pounced on this opportunity to open the wine and get drunk but as that doesn't appeal anymore, I poured myself a glass of sparkling elderflower water and watched three episodes of the Real Housewives of Sydney. I know that's not everyone's idea of the perfect evening but I got to tell you... it was marvellous. Congratulations to everyone celebrating a milestone today. 24 more for me please xxxx

I try to not make promises to people about relationships cos none of us know what might happen with them.
