Still fighting this awful head cold and contemplating whether or not to go to the gym this morning.
I had a great therapy session last night- I am ready to make some changes in my way of thinking and in my behaviors. I owe it to myself and my family.
We also talked about the idea that our brain stops growing the day we become an addict/alcoholic. For me that was age 15 and it terrifies me to think I can't ever get that chance back again to grow emotionally mature the way a non-addict would. I might make a post about it for some insight.
I am officially done with Christmas shopping, hallelujah! Just need to finish wrapping up a few gifts and I will be all set.

Suze..I started reading a book this morning too! So get onto it girly!! I picked up "the secret" again as I haven't read it in a few years and it had a big impact on my life when I initially read it..

I love "The Secret" as well- did you ever read the sequel called "The Power?" I think you would like is as well (it's all about LOVE.)

Good morning Beautiful souls!!!
It's 6:40 am, USA, MN. I'm in for another 24
Today there is no daycare so my little and I will be home today, while he plays I'll be cleaning, laundry, cleaning and cleaning. HA! I'm going to sneak some drawing and/or painting in there somewhere, possibly at nap time, Momma still needs me time.
We have a very low key Christmas this year which honestly makes me so happy!!!
On Sunday, I have a meeting in the Am, collect my 3 month chip and share SEH.
When I get home, eat breakfast (OK, let's be real, I'll have to make it first. Men, shesh)
Then my little gets to open all the gifts from us and Monday will be from santa. Ekkkkkk. This is the first year he'll understand opening gifts.
Todat, I'll have to purge all his toys and make room for the new before it gets out of control. He's also in desperate need of a haircut, as much as I wanted to see him with long hair, it's just not going to work
