Good morning, afternoon and evening my dear sober friends!
5:09 am here and I am getting ready to hit the gym
I had a drinking dream last night which I haven't really had in quite some time. Only in this dream my sister ordered me the drink and I just couldn't drink it. It felt so real- I knew if I drank it I would lose all of my hard work and I didn't even want to feel drunk so I left it alone!
Not much going on here although the stress of the holidays seems to be keeping me busy enough. I got some alone time yesterday after 5 straight days with the kids and a day at home with my sick toddler on Tuesday. I am putting him into the lunch program today so that I can have 5 solid hours to myself! And no, I am not going to feel guilty about it! I plan on doing some reading, some journaling and maybe if I can force myself, something creative. I used to draw and write every day when I was a teen and in college. I wish I still had that habit- maybe I can start again somehow? Just have to start doing it until it becomes a habit, right?
