9:24 in California and checking in for another 24. I went back to work today after being off for a few days last week, and although it was busy, things did not fall apart in my absence. It reminded me again how lucky I am to work with an incredible team, and how much I love my job. I remember in the spring when I was interviewing and how upset I was when I didn't get two positions, I remember being nervous before this job interview because of the three jobs it was the one I really wanted. It was definitely a case of things happening at the right time.

I've been very busy for the last couple of days, helping a friend of mine in the program move in while she is between homes. As of today she is also my neighbor, or at least she will be once she moves in, but her lease is a done deal. It will be nice to have a sober neighbor who has over a decade of recovery... or any recovery, for that matter. I truly believe that God is working this for her good and mine.
