Well folks, just had my psychoist session. This guy is very smart and knows I do not do warm fuzzy stuff- but just want basic feed-b on my status quo. I told him about the meetings. He said that basically 'what is the point?'. Like a huge investment with no return. He was cognisant on the reasons I am doing it- but pointed out it may be pedaling back-w. So I gots me some thinkin' to do. Being forcibly moral and doing the right thing- if it is detrimental is not good. So- I am listening to others. Am not dropping out- but thinking to do.

Morning overs

PJ, if you’re getting something out of the meetings, it must be a good thing for you. If it’s not giving you any satisfaction at all I’m sure you’ll question it.

Itchy, first day back didn’t go too well. All the networks were down so we couldn’t do anything. Someone had perfume or aftershave on that made my nose swell with an allergic reaction, the guy at side of me has a bad cold. Phew. . At 12 noon the boss rang down and said if anyone wants to take half day holiday they can, so I jumped at it. I wouldn’t normally but I wasn’t good so came home. Back to work today, feeling a lot better, hopefully will stay that way.

Got my flu jab on Wednesday thank goodness. It’s been put off by the surgery, until I was better.

Have a good Tuesday overs.

Babs,
OK gotcha. We were threatened with being assigned there or Thule Greenland if we ever screwed up. lmao:

Mags,
Sorry it wasn't smooth sailing. But it worked out, no?

PJ,
Interesting dilemma. I'll be interested in what you decide.

Well, it was 116 days ago today that we nearly lost Fran in that horrific accident. The necessary ramps and equipment have been installed and, if all goes according to plan, she should be coming home later today! Thanks for all the positive thoughts and prayers here and please keep them coming in hopes that she will one day walk again.

Have a Horrifyingly Happy Halloween, overs!

Booo Haa Haa! Happy Halloween Overs!!!!

I made me so happy to see everyone's good news!

IP - Congrats on 6 years! Woot Woot
V - Same to you on 3 years. (I can't believe it's been that long!!!!!!)
Mags - Happy dance that Merlin is doing better
FBL - I'm glad to hear that Fran can finally come home. I do hope that it goes well.
TR - Best wishes to you too!
Itchy - So glad that your son is doing well & you're getting good help - sounds like you have just a tiny bit on your plate Canjun Gerber had me in stitches

Good news: I'm doing ok & the good news is that the baby is currently stable. Bad news: Unfortunately I was in the 1% who had a complication from the genetic testing that we did last week & I'm not out of the woods yet.

They stick a big needle into the amniotic sac to get DNA & usually this seals immediately with no leaking, but instead I've had 3 contraction episodes since & a week out I still have not sealed back up. The baby's fluid level is dropping. :/

The good news is that while it is low, it is still above the minimum needed, so baby is unaffected at the moment & isn't showing distress. I'll likely be on bedrest for the next few weeks while we wait it out in hopes that it reseals.

In other news, my grandmother in OH went into the hospital with end stage congestive heart failure over the weekend. I'm in CA & not able to fly with my pregnancy complications (and probably won't for some time), but I wish I could be there with her. She has a special fondness for me b/c we are both designers and I know that she would appreciate my company (and vice versa). :/

With all that going on, it REALLY raised my spirits to see everyone's good news and get me thinking about something else. Hugs!!!!

Prayers for you SE and your Grandmother - and of course the bub.
I'm sure your grandmother knows you're there in spirit.

FBL,
I do hope all works out for Fran's transfer to her home tomorrow.

FG,
Glad to hear from you and that you're fine

SE,
I'm sorry to hear you've issues, and glad you've them well in hand.

I had my right eye lased to burn out some floaters today and while the eye is sore, the improvement is eye opening!

One more laser of the floaties and I'm done with them.

Night all

Sorry to hear of the complications SE. Hopefully, things will reseal and your pregnancy will continue moving along smoothly. Prayers for your grandmother too.

Itchy, you will be able to write a book after the series of eye surgeries that you have gone through!

Happy November everyone!

Morning overs

SE big hugs for you and baby and grandmother

Fbl best wishes to Fran for a speedier recovery once she’s in her own home

Itchy I came home early yesterday unfortunately. My head was like fuzzy cotton wool. Hopefully my brain will push it out and get back from it’s homiday.
I’m pleased your eye is a lot better after surgery.

No internet at home so took the Wi-fi off and using Mobile data.

Prayers go out to all our New York friends who may have suffered in the terror attack.
