24 Hour Recovery Connection Part 270
Good afternoon - 3:10pm in the UK.
I now this is a 24 hour thread but I am going to work in an hour, finishing at 1am. I am going to my parents from work (their spare bed is more comfortable than mine!) and will be going to work from there tomorrow afternoon.
The chances are I won't be able to check in until I wake up Monday morning. Can I do an early check in for tomorrow?

To do all that, and sober.
I drank through all the hospitals and funerals. Yikes. It smarts to remember my behaviour ... Sobriety is the way forward
10:00 on a beautiful Saturday morning. I am getting ready to head to the gym with the girls, and then going to my MIL house for another family gathering. Tomorrow the kids and I are taking a road trip, and then spending the night at my BIL house.
Hope everyone's weekend has gotten off to a good start!

Our garage seems to become the hub for everything we don't know what to do with in the house! I have a few boxes of work stuff that can't go to my office until the end of August in there right now. I should be grateful for all of the stuff that we do have!
Looking up is good, Suze. I am obsessing over not being able to sketch, draw well- spontaneously. So I study things- to look for angles, shades, context.
I was looking up- in the main, no traffic street in the city, the mall. I looked at the top of the buildings. The older buildings- multistory (but much smaller than modern sky-scrapers) were ornate, decorated- designed to be looked at, for status, wealth, power. Some had so weird mixes of Egyptian, Greek and even added in celtic symbols. The newer buildings were different shapes, but usually with just a single defining icon..that represents their status, power, wealth...like the 'Apple' symbol. Looking up is good. I am learning a lot.
