Just checking in a second time today to report that my skin cancer surgery went well - all cancer gone! My eye (cancer was on side of nose very near to my eye) is swollen and should be black by tomorrow. But although there is some achy pain, I am doing well. Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers.

Coming back to my old stomping grounds brings years to my eye! I am grateful to be able to come back and enjoy a great time. And doing it sober! 24 more!!!

Late check in. Surgery early in the morning. I don't think I will sleep. Can't have gum or a mint after midnight? Why? Did somehting happen to someone and the doctor said, "If only he hadn't had a mint before the surgery."
