Hevyn....I remember New Orleans way
back when I was little when our folks took
4 of us kids to Mardi Gras for yrs. Then
as an adult went back during my alcohol
addiction also going to Mardi Gras and
POB Pat O' Brains for those famous
Hurricane drinks. Oh yeah, they had to
pull over on the side of the road to let
me out cause I got soooooo sick from
downing several of those sweet sick
drinks.
I was living in Houston when Katrina
pass thru Louisiana and New Orleans
was under water. Sooooo sad. However,
I returned back home to Baton Rouge
a yr later and road to N.O. with my
now husband to visit his mom.
It's been awhile since we've been
back there but like Baton Rouge,
everything is being rebuilt and looking
new.
Anyway....
Sweet Nefer, everytime I hear music,
esp. in the car, I'm always saying, ooo
that song ive got to bring to Nefer to
play for us along with his pretty Roses.
Now, I'm up early in the morning
switching my MTV music to CMT
and loving it. I really love all kinds
of music, but with country music
I can hear all the words clearly.
Okay, I'm send you Blake Shelton's
song Everytime I Hear That Song
for you to add a video cause I don't
know how to add it like you guys do.
I'll send the hyperlink from google

morning and the phrase Grace of God
is what caught my attention and thought
about you and all you do with your service
work delivering us your Rose Picks and
Songs. Your like a gift from Above to
brighten our moments.

I have to echo Hevyn when she wrote
STUNNING black rose. That one is an
eye catcher for sure. Kinda gothic or
mid evil looking.
The song has meaning to it. Maybe a
message? I remember for many yrs.
before, during and after getting into
recovery, I had so many sad, unhappy,
restless, irritable, discontent days,
when I immersed myself in music,
filling my brain with it so when I went
to sleep, I had song after song playing
in my mind to calm and comfort me.
Songs that held all the feelings and
messages I had inside me and needed
to voice them out loud. And I did when
I was riding in my car. Id crank that
sucker up as loud as I could stand it
and sang to the heavens in hopes
that God would hear what my head
and heart saying.
So many songs that said exactly what
I was feeling back then and even today
what I am feeling but cant just say it,
so i'll sing it.
Time, sobriety, change has lifted me
from darkness to the light of happiness,
honesty, faith, hope and love with a
whole lotta songs to fill my heart.

Beautiful Blue Bird along with a
beautiful blue Rose bloom.
Ive never seen a Blue Bird except
many gigantic for Blue Jays which
is a type of blue colored bird. Right...lol
