24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 195
Checking in for 24 hours. Its been a good few days. I have largely overcome my running injury. It has taken months but I also deliberately took it slow. In the past, I've rushed it which only makes things worse. As well, I feel more refreshed and my mind feels lighter since New Year. I hope this feeling lasts a bit longer.
Well done to all the milestoners ! Every day sober makes us stronger and adds another brick on our self-esteem wall !

The holidays take their toll. Just try to be extra kind to yourself. Make sure to get enough sleep. Remember HALT. Stay close to SR. Drink plenty of water or some good caffeine free tea or chai.
I second third and fourth comments about sugar. I'm in a struggle this year to break free of the chains. It definitely affects my soberness and wellbeing in general.
