Hi everyone!! Checking in. DH and I went out for dinner tonight and there was an iffy moment when I thought to myself "well a glass of wine couldn't hurt right?".....and then I snapped out of it and we decided to go to our favorite greasy diner and have breakfast for dinner - afterall wine and eggs certainly don't go together

Well I am off to catch up on what I have missed - sorry I'm not posting individually but know that I appreciate and value each and every one of you. I couldn't do this without you - hugs!!

Oops I forgot to check back in when I said I would - I'm running from one thing to another at the moment but it's not too stressful, i'm enjoying being busy and feeling like i'm accomplishing things. It does mean I have a tendency to put this sobriety stuff on the back burner though, especially since I really don't have any desire to drink lately. thats dangerous territory though, i've experienced this before and I know I need to do a better job of staying active here or AA or something, getting too complacent has always led to bad things for me. I just wish there were more hours in the day!!

I was just coming in here to post the immri-signal before I headed to bed. Glad you checked in and are doing OK. We're here--don't stress yourself out about not being as active, just keep checking in when you can and keep not drinking. You're doing great.

Goodnight class! Been a nice, low-key day off. I'm really wanting some junk food right now but am not gonna do it. Don't even have any in the house. Guess I'll eat a banana instead. Thanks to everyone for helping me stay sober another day. Talk to you in the morning.

Who killed Laura Palmer??? Ha ha do you guys remember Twin Peaks? I remember who killed her, the "little person" who made weird noises and some red room. I found it on Netflix so I figured I'd watch it again. If memory serves me right it started out as a pretty normal show but towards the end apparently all the writers started dropping acid!

Hi Kayak!! I find it's easier to use Velcro straps on shoes....beats having to remember that rabbit rhyme for tieing them Congrats on day four!!
