24-Hour Recovery Connections Part 156
Late check in today but I'm here for another 24 blessed hours!
Well, the sermon hit home (as always) and I'm so glad I made church today. The great music and fellowship and message lifted me up and I really, really needed to surround myself with all that love. The last few weeks have been a roller coaster of emotions, including crying and I rarely cry. Is this the new me? The one who doesn't drown emotions in a bottle? I also think PAWS has settled in for a bit so I better hold tight for the ride!
Congratulations to everyone celebrating a Milestone today!!
Hugs, peace and strength to those struggling, sick or grieving. Take care...xxxx

Get some R&R, stat! Maybe a massage? A heating pad? Some natural antiflammatory like Turmeric? Check in with your doctor. Hope you can have a quiet evening.
I'm checking in for 24. 11:17 am. I had the craziest, most vivid drinking dream last night. I woke up and it took me a minute to realize that it was just a dream-i didn't drink last night. Blessed relief.
Congrats to all our milestoners today! I'm one week down today too. Again and for the last time, I pray.

Good Going Mysti! We all need some R&R!
I try each day to raise my heart and hands in thanks to God for showing me a "design for living" that really works through our beautiful Fellowship. But what, exactly, is this "design for living" that "really works"? For me, it is the practice of the Twelve Steps to the best of my ability, the continued awareness of a God who loves me unconditionally, and the hope that, in each new day, there is a purpose for my being. I am truly, truly blessed in the Fellowship.
still sober and for that I'm so grateful.
24 hrs. more of " living life at life terms, one day at the time."
