24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 147
Hi,
I'm pooped. Time to check in. For the next 24, to my HP, AA, & SR.
Lucky kicked Sara out of her bed tonight and was walking around the house today. Big smiles at our house! Thank you, thank you everyone for your prayers & healng energy.
Tomorrow night we have the Party to celebrate my Sponsor's 30th and the wonderful man who leads our Big Book Study's 28th. 92 have RSVP'd with 38 MAYBE. It's a Potluck...whew. A ton of sobriety will hangin' ...yeah, just because you've given up drinking....doesn't mean you can't have a blast!

Enjoy today's celebrations, Bobbie.
I've have to go to my first AA meeting today. Actually I don't have to but I think I need to and I must want to. I'm terrified though. I'm finding it hard to stay positive. There's no way it can be as scary as what alcohol did to me. I know these are just irrational fears that are triggering the anxiety. All that matters today is that I don't drink and I get myself through those doors.
Here's to 24 more and I guess facing social anxiety without benzos or alcohol for once.

Your proactivity is very inspirational, TT; let us know how you find the meeting.
You know, I'm really happy the cats have bonded but they may have become partners in crime. I just found evidence of nefarious activities last night- a tipped-over trash bin and a Swiffer mop lying on the floor. I demanded to know what they'd been up to, but they didn't seem to care...
24 more hours please
Thanks for the laugh this morning Toki!
Hopefully, you get answers next time.
8:18 in northern Michigan--I'm a "fake" milestoner today: I did quit two months ago, then had three "episodes" last week. So it's either two months minus three days, or five days; I can't decide! Whatever, I only know I'm not drinking today, which is really all any of us have...
Keep moving forward into and through sobriety. The rewards are unbelievable.
Enjoyed a sleep in today- My alarm was set for a long morning run and after shuffling around for a few minutes searching for clothes & shoes, I returned to bed. My body knows best and it was crying out for more sleep!
6 months Sober feels good but I must remember to listen to my body and mind because everything is still healing. 24 more please and maybe another sleep in tomorrow-
Congratulations to all Celebrants and to all committed to Sobriety today. Take care...

Six months sober is FANTASTIC, bandi -
I'm back and here to stay. Today is day 6. On July 4th, Independence Day, I claimed my independence too. I made a promise to myself, my children and my god that I would stay sober and I intend to keep that promise. I said good bye to my oldest son that day. He left for the Army for 5 months. I also said goodbye to alcohol. The next time I see my son, I intend for him to see a sober, healthier, happier mother that he will be proud of, just as I am proud of him.
I'm sorry for disappearing, but I am back stronger than ever. Happy to be sober and moving forward. I missed you all and I missed recovery. What a horrible existence that was.
So with all of that...I committ to 24 more sober hours. Have a peaceful, sober day friends.
