The sun is shining here. The lake has diamonds on the surface.
I looked this up this morning and I guess all eel meat products have to be cooked since eel blood can be toxic, but I couldn't really find much information beyond that in terms of the mechanism other than it can produce anaphylaxis. I also found moray eels could be contaminated by toxins from algae, but didn't find much beyond that (again doing a quick search). If electric eels are swimming in their tank and you have to harvest your own, you may want to pass.
