Yesterday was, well.... let's say I'm grateful for a new start today.

Let me be clear, my sobriety is intact, but my mood degenerated into that of a stroppy teenager as the day wore on.

Today I'm just going to strive to be a better version of the person I was yesterday.

And I'm going to apologise to the kids when they wake up for being a cow at bedtime.

Being an adult isn't much fun....

Being in recovery is illuminating however.
