Well we got through our opening nite without a hitch. We had a last second technical rehearsal where we added lights and sound. When we were done with that it was go time. Every other show was oversold but ours wasn't quite jam packed. I don't know why. Perhaps a midnight start time? Perhaps because they haven't been including it in promotions of other shows? English? I don't know. It was still pretty full with only 36 people because we are performing in a really small space.

It was disappointing that the crazy lady had something to complain about mere seconds after curtain call. People were hooting and hollering for us and the fact that someone used make up at her dressing station and got powder on her stuff was the end of the world. Geez

We had a meeting with boss after the show so we couldn't mingle with the crowd and were finally let go near 3 am. Took a nice solo walk home through the streets.

Well tonks, not much for food talk, I hade some cabbage soup yesterday. During the play I eat a mcdonalds happy meal so was saving room for that monstrosity. Today two shows two happy meals. Gag gag burp. Probably at least 3 hours after purchase.

Mild, cool you design play production posters. That's pretty fun. In Chicago it becomes a competitive art and really can make a difference in butts in the seats. Surprised the people don't take advantage of pre-sales. Is it general admission or assigned seats? GA people tend to wait longer.

Brynn, I'm glad you had some baby time. Some snuggles of love for you.

No news from Chicago regarding my granny. I'll take that as a positive since I have to.

Well I thought I was up. I'm thinking it's nap time now

Good Morning Lovely Littermates.
Day 84 for we Royal Veggie Triplets - Shannon we love you.

Still buttasscold. Lots of running around today but it's all good.

Big - so glad your opening went well - the powder caper is funny.
Brynn, what a lovely evening of baby snuggle time.

Copper - drive carefully. As you know we are with you in spirit. Be like a sponge and get everything you can out of your inpatient experience. Check in if you can. We love you.

Good morning gang!

I love your updates from Poland, Big! Alas , I don't exactly get to design the posters. The design department at the U gets that task. I do, however, get to give input before they go off to be designed about what they should "feel" like, and I get to critique before they go to press. So it's something. Having been a graphic artist for most of my life, I wish I could do more. Shows are all assigned seating. We have 282 seats - so far since I've been there we have not even come close to selling out. It's just frustrating when big groups come to the box office on show nights, all wanting to be seated together, and get huffy when they can't. Plan ahead, people!

Really happy for you Mld, and also kind of sad. I hate driving unless I'm on an actual road trip.

Oh but you know how nice it is to say to yourself, "self, you need a carton of milk and some chocolate ice cream and some fish sticks. Hop in the car and go!" I haven't done that in two months. Missing those fish sticks something fierce.

Sad,y, no road trips in the near future. My driving is limited to work, store, church, meetings, and stuff like that. No hopping in the car for random road trips unless someone else is driving. For about a tear.

Nice Big - Glad opening night went smoothly. I can't remember, how long will you be there?

Excited for you Mld.....will be good for you to have a little independence. That's amazing that you get to drive to the store.....I could only drive to & from work & to specific AA meetings & all of that had to be taken by specific route. The device takes forever to start in the cold. If you blow into it before you select the button to start the process, it warms it up & starts quicker. Also, disconnecting the hand unit & bringing it inside when it's really cold.

Mariah - I'll have more restrictions when I'm on home monitoring. Not sure yet when that will start and how long it will be. This license allows me 60 hours a week for essential work, home making needs, treatment, meetings, church. I just had to tell them what hours each day I need to drive and what counties I drive in.

Went for my run this morning and there's an icy cold wind that really didn't do much for my sore throat , i need to start wearing a scarf or something. But once I was done i stood and took in the wind, the rising sun, and the snowcapped mountains nearby. Very pretty.

Be safe today everyone! Especially Mld about to be running the streets again

Hope you got to your destination safely Copper! Your litter misses you already.

Good morning y'all!

It's snowing here again! weird weather around these parts this winter!

Glad to hear opening night was hitch-less, Big! Tonight will be sold out after word gets around!

Oh Mld! You are going to feel like a kid in a candy store when you get that license! Limited drivings better than no driving!! Yay! I bet you never get even a speeding ticket again! I became the most law abiding driver ever after I got my license back!

Thinking of you copper! ❤️.

Hey Della, tonks, Mariah, Sis B....has anyone heard from our princess?

Hugs to our MIAs....good thoughts coming your way!
xoxo

Brynn - oddly enough, I have never, in over 30 years of driving, gotten a ticket for anything other than drunk driving.
