Why Not Do Something Nice Today!
Sometimes in early sobriety we can really begin
to feel sorry for ourselves.
I have found the best way to get out of myself
is to do something nice for someone else.
Here are some ideas..
Ask someone “how are you?” mean it and listen.
Instead of just thinking it, compliment someone.
Hug your loved ones for no particular reason.
Call someone you haven’t talked to in a while.
Collect clothes to take to a local shelter.
Stop to have a conversation with a homeless person.
Donate books to your local library.
Volunteer at a soup kitchen.
Pay for the person behind you at the drive-thru.
Buy flowers for the cashier at the grocery store.
Send a nice card to a family member, just because.
Leave a funny or kind note in an unexpected place.
Hold the elevator.
Give a lottery ticket to a stranger.
Let someone get ahead of you in line.
Invite someone who is alone over for dinner.
If someone has a need and you can meet that
need wouldn't the world be a much nicer place.
Who are we going to reach out and touch today?
I believe God blesses those who bless others.
Ready to be blessed today?

Please Pray for Skye2's and Tempebrenn's safe return!
