Bears, ey. That's a cool totem!

Bear as totem animal:

"The gifts that bear offers to those with this totem are strength, introspection and knowledge... Unlike other animals who are active during a specific time of day, the bear is active both day and night. This symbolizes its connection with solar energy, that of strength and power, and lunar energy, that of intuition... While they have little to fear they can forget caution, which is an important trait to have. If bear is your totem be careful that you don't throw your caution to the wind. Being unaware of your limits in certain settings can be disastrous... Bear teaches you how to make choices from a position of power."

Animal Totems, discover the healing and teaching aspects associated with your totems,

Morning everybody. Been up all night researching holistic relief for cancer in dogs. Fish oil (I think cod liver oil should do the trick), vitamin A and vitamin C. So he'll be getting that. He still looks absolutely fine this morning, so that's good.

As chemotherapy is out of the question (it will make him uncomfortable and give him a few months remission at most, even if it works this kind of cancer comes back with a vengeance the second time), I'm just going to go down the vitamins and fish oil route - and home cooked food apparently as well, instead of tins and stuff.

Just want to thank everybody for their kind words and stuff too.

How is everybody today?

Actually, the bear is the totem animal I gave myself, my actual native american medicine wheel totem is the otter, I think.

The bear is cooler.

Hi Stoney, Rusty and goodnight Dee! I seem to miss you more often than not...

I wasn't able to see what you posted above, Stone, so maybe Dee couldn't view it either? If that's the case, and thare's a naked body involved, I'll bet that he'll REALLY hate when that happens!!! lol

I like otters myself.

The giant otters at the zoo always mesmerize me.

RK. That's a great plan and wonderful attitude. Staying positive about things goes a long way. I'm sure RKainine will benefit most of all.

I am well today... now that our power is back on. School has a delayed opening due to it which means my son John Coltrane will have to wait for his 'fix' of fried chicken and cornbread .

I get to teach again today:bounce (not flow thank Buddha). I have my regular class at the gym tonight of course but the pre-teen/teen class is starting at the studio this afternoon then I'm teaching the 5:30 Hatha. 3 classes in a row. Yoga is hard work!

I have sort of prepared a 1st chakra class for the pt/t's. I figure a theme to the whole series will be good for them. I still need a good meditation though. I'm behind with the power outage. None of my books have anything geared towards kids.
