RE my FB posting RE Arrogant people:
This dude is in my DDriving class and is concerned cuz he has to use public phones that were used by "those people" at the 2 week state mandated inhouse "class".
Heaven forbid they might be druggies or dirty or have some kind of disease.
I know for a fact if he goes in there with that kind of arrogance and holier than thou' attitude the counselors and the residents will TEAR HIM APART !!!
He will have a very lonely 2 weeks !
He is some high level executive for IBM and god forbid he has to even slightly humble himself !
I thought about dropping a dime but that would be bad karma.
I know people at IBM who define the term food chain !
He brings his own sheets to all the posh hotels he uses.
I told him he better watch out or someone who was born without a silver spoon in his/her mouth may actually teach HIM something !
The person who runs the class says he should probably lose the attitude before he goes as well.
For him its all about tarnishing his perfect little life image and that he is better than everyone there.
THOSE PEOPLE - I told him that like it or not he is NOW one of those people.

It isn't the fact that she talks incessantly...it is the fact that she is constantly whinging about other people...she never has anything positive to say. She has one theme, things people have said in meetings that pissed her off.
After 30 mins with her I have PTSD, I am flinching and twitching and it does my tumor no good at all!
The only reason I go with her is cos she would have to set up by herself if I didn't go...I would rather get the damn bus and keep my sanity!

I am thinking of emailing her and telling her not to take what other people say to heart so much, lol.
It is only a matter of time before she turns on me though....my sponsor said "I'm just amazed she is staying committed; when she leaves it'll be your fault LOL", every time she drinks it is someone elses fault, what someone said to her in a meeting...

You did good not to email her, Paul. People, places and things. We are powerless over them all. You could set a boundary with her, when setting up, and just say 'I'm not comfortable talking about people who aren't here, lets talk about something else." or you could simply ask her questions about herself. Where did she grow up, go to school, how did she gas past the whole Higher Power thing, etc. Get her talking about herself and maybe that will help?

Taking the boys to school. Then I'll come home and tape some of this mess before heading ova theah. The sheet rock dude is there, he called and Damon left to go let him in. Can't leave him alone... what if he steals a cook book

I think I'm going to email my instructor and tell her I cannot teach tonight since I'm busy. She has other people to choose from anyway. I will send it, and not delete.

I hope you're feeling better today. Have you found someone to teach tonight? I can't do it after all. The sheet rock guys are at the house so I need to stay home right after I'm done at the studio at 2:30 so Damon can come back here. They just called and said they'd start today. Sorry for any inconvenience.
