Hi guys. I just got home - I saw 'La Damnation de Faus' or 'Dr Faustus' which was broadcast via satellite live from The Met in NYC. It was a wonderful opera - 4 recovery gals and one normie - with a whole bunch of blue-haired folk!
Now I'm tucked into bed with one of the dogs and a cat for an afternoon nap. It's very cold out today.

happy almost birfday, newf!
they've been showing those at one of our local movie theatres, and i've thought about going. i only went to the real opera once, and fell asleep. but then i looked around when i woke up, and there was actually a lot of other folks dozing too. ha! i guess that just happens to some people at the opera.

lol K! This was at a movie theatre, too. Admittedly, i was ready for it to end, but the music was quite moving, and the live behind-the-scenes footage was excellent.
Hope your allergy shot doesn't give you a big ouchie!
