Our area hasn't had a Public Information chair in over a year! I have been nominated for the honor of serving as PI chair and accepted. I guess nobody wants this because its a no Glory position, I believe it to be the most imortant along with H & I. Which I am involved with H & I as well. These are 2 of the committee's I was taught in early times of recovery to get involved in and now I am.
Tommorrow is Area and will be there for 8 am to about 4 or 5 pm abnd tired but loving life as we know it. I can't say enough about service and how my involvement keeps my flame burning!!!!!!

I love PI, my first 5 years clean, I was on the PI sub-committee. I am happy you are able to fill the position.

Our area hasn't had PI in years. We just nomintaed our outgoing H&I chair to PI. I'm very interested in learning more about it and seeing how it unfolds. My service stays at the group level and in H&I. I'd like to get involved in other areas but I know it's very easy for me to over-extend myself and burn out. I may get involved with PI once I see what it's about. I wish you luck with your new committment and know you'll do a great job!
