Happy Mother's Day
I just wanted to wish a Happy Mom's Day to all my fellow moms! What if anything are any of you doing for Mother's Day? Did anyone here do anything special to honor their mom? Or have something special done for them?

PS: I'm thinking about my sponsor on this special day. Not only does she nurture me in many ways, but she has children and step-children to take care of too. This will be the first Mother's Day in her life where she feels complete, because this year she got back in her estranged daughter's life. Recovery can make us whole!

Today I made dinner for my mom (she loves my cooking 
) and we hung out and talked for a while. Yesterday I bought her a huge Peace Lily and a dozen roses. That really made her day. She just kicked me out and told me to go to my home group!

I hate this day. My mother is schizophranic . This day reminds me of how much I miss having her in my life, especially now. But ,despite that, Happy Mother's Day for all mom's especially those who are struggling.
