1st step
1st step
I have a wonderful sponsor but I've yet to do the first step with her. I have been clean 5 months and am ready but she has a lot on her plate so I don't want to be a bother. That's how I lost my last sponsor. I didn't call her because I didn't feel worth it. Now I understand that sponsors need sponsees to keep them in line. Not sure what to do here. My current sponsor works 12 hour days but relapse is my middle name. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

I often share with other members that having a sponsor that you don't use is like having no sponsor at all.
Whenever I'm asked to be a sponsor I realize that I'm taking on a responsibility that I shouldn't minimize or take lightly. If I cannot MAKE TIME for my sponsees, I shouldn't (and won't) take them on.
If I were you I'd call and tell them that I'm ready for step work.
