Step 1 - I just finished rehap and I am now reworking Step 1 with my sponser. I have been addicted to drugs or some sort all of my adult life. Exhausted from the entire viscious addiction circle and ready to start a new life that is clean and sober. I've hit bottom several times, but have decided that my last bottom will be the last and I am calling hit my bottom. I am scared because I am 41 and not sure how to live sober. My boyfriend drinks and even though that isn't my drug of choice it is a crutch for me when I trying to quit drugs. Noticed right off that this is going to be a Trigger. My sponser and I are working on Step 1 and I am scared but excited because I am learning each day that life sober is much better than I remembered.
