So, is this the paranoia discussion thread? I remember being very worried about Killer Bees when I was a little kid. Many, many, many killer bee scares later I still believe I'm more likely to die of cancer, heart disease, or in a car accident, just like when I was a kid. Safety is an illusion, stay sober and live your life. Worry accomplishes nothing.

I would probably stick to the facts than the sensationalism.

So far in all of the 50 states and 350 million people.....

1 has died.

So your chances of getting in a car accident, having it blow up, blasting you off into the atmosphere, the government thinking you're a russian spy plane so they blast you with a rocket, landing in the ocean, getting struck by lightning, and then finally becoming shark poop all in one 30 second span.....are much greater than getting ebola

Unless you're going to the African countries where there's a major Ebola outbreak, or a healthcare worker who works directly with ebola patients I would not worry about ebola.

I have read articles that said how as long as you practice basic hygiene like washing your hands with soap and hot water, how you will not get ebola.
