Paulos,
What does your doctor say?
Hang in there.
We're all here for you...

Shalom!

If you are being honest with yourself can you say that it's worse than when you were drinking or drugging? Until I was able to see good in the world again all I could do was stick to the fact that things weren't as bad as they were when i was using. It took a while to see that things could get better. But I always had to remember that my worst day sober was better than my best day high. Hang in there. It does get better.

What are you doing to make it better?

There can be no recovery without action.

Paulos.....you also must realize that when drinking you were self-medicating your illness. Now, it is going to take some work with a good pdoc to help you also become mentally healthy.

That is why i pointed out to you that i felt you are headed toward trouble if you don't do something soon.

120 days is just so fantastically awsome and i know you don't want to loss all that you've worked so hard for!!!

Have you thought about going inpatient? Or even a day treatment program for mental illness?

i'm pretty sure that NAMI: National Alliance on Mental Illness lists recovery/help programs by state. It doesn't hurt to just check out the lists and see what's available in your area...right?

And there's also www.dbsalliance.org (i think that's the right web addy). It's for DBSA (Depression/Bipolar Support Alliance).

There are also depression and bipolar support groups available in most states and areas. You should be able to find that info on those 2 sites also.

And there are also other mental health support groups online.

Once you get support for and a handle on the depression, i totally and 100% believe you will be able to continue your sobriety through all of this.

If you don't find any resources that can help you on those 2 sites, then let me know and i will see what else i can think of that might help you right now.

hang on....you can do this.

hugs,
Jenna
