^^^ I been there! A conference. The old-downtown main drag had a small hipster presence, enough to maintain a 24-hour hipster coffee shop, to my surprise.

Today I'm grateful for high quality coffee and those who make it.

Today I am grateful for a good drive from Dodge City, Kansas to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Saw lots of land not planted with crops or not pastured by cattle in Kansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.

Today I am grateful for a great visit to the Bradbury Science Museum in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The Manhatten project was an exceptional deployment of scientific and managerial skills that resulted in the construction of two atomic bombs that ended WWII.

Today I am grateful for great weather at Cortez, Colorado as we will be visiting Mesa Verde National Park. The park has 3,000 stone structures and was home to cliff dwelling Indians for 1,000 years (300 AD to 1300 AD).
