Pancake

I wanted to come by and express my sincere gratitude to all of you at Sober Recovery. It’s hard to believe tomorrow marks 13 years of sobriety for this Pancake. I owe you all a huge debt for supporting me all those years ago; when I was a fledgling trying to get through the hours and days. Sleep was not to be had for the first number of months. It feels like yesterday, but also feels like so long ago too. I only look forward to bright days now, with a clear head and mind. Please, if you are new here, know you’ve got this!! If I could do this, so can you. Believe me, I was beyond rough, and on my last legs from pounding down booze! My blessings now are too many to count. I give thanks each day for this beautiful, wonderful life. Hope lies within your heart. Open up your heart and let the light in. Shine, like you never have before. I opened my heart. You can too. May God bless you on your journey. I’m so grateful for a life that is free from the pain of addiction and drunkenness. Please stay, and let this awesome group of people help you too. Thank you all!!
