I am grateful for choice
I am going to a treatment facility tomorrow and I am truly grateful that I have the ability to make that choice. I may not be at rock bottom yet but I am pretty close. That is why I am grateful that I can make this choice to be sober and start living my best life without alcohol.
Your are making the right choice for sure. I did it alone at home, looking back I wish I would have went to a facility to detox. The long term will be great for you just have patience and keep you head in the game!

When you value sobriety more than inebriation you will have no addiction. This is simply what most people do.
You have free will, personal autonomy, and are driven by the pursuit of happiness and when you choose to behave in a certain way, you do it because you see it as your best option.
