I hit a time in the afternoon where I start dragging. I'm always trying something a bit different to pick myself up and get myself through the afternoons a bit better. Today I'm doing a pre four-o'clock-fall-apart gratitude list
Here are a few things for which I am grateful!
- although I'm alone today I had contact with 5 different people - makes me feel connected
-first snow of the year and I remembered to detach my hoses. Also it will warm up in the next few days and the nice moist soil will make some final gardening easier
- did 30 min of yoga with a friend and 10 min of exercise on my own later (this last really combated the afternoon fall-aparts by getting my blood flowing)
-neighbor made some really good bean soup and shared it with me.
-friends are flying into my Dad's town and will spend the night with him. He's 84 and enjoys them and they need a place to stay - multiple benefits in this situation
Now off to email about finances, find another workout video, and get out some sewing.
Thanks for reading. It feels good to write it and put it out there.
Next right step whatever that might be all!
