Thank you, God - for the opportunity to witness some curious as well as entertaining behavior in animals that I have observed yesterday and today:
--a mama dove fussing with her nest settled in a small corner on a window ledge beside an air conditioner -- at eye level where I can quietly observe without disturbing her
-- a robin flying about in my back yard -- working feverishly to take twine that was trailing off a fence post but not succeeding (until I went out, cut the twine off; I checked back later and it was gone )
-- a small bunny hopping up to a newly erected fence around the vegetable garden, peering through the wire fence longingly at the newly sprouting veggies -- those veggies that were free for the taking just a few days ago!
--my dog, making a game out of tossing a treat up and about, hopping and dancing around like a young pup, before finally consuming it

I am so grateful to observe the creatures You created.

Thank you God, for a productive and active day yesterday, thank you for the energy Lord to tackle painting and remodeling on our home, but also taking time out to have a little fun.
