New Year! New Me?
Hi All,
Those of you who have been around here since 2014, may remember me or maybe not who knows!
Ive was sober and active here through the most part of 2014 and believed (cautiously) that i had it beaten, fast forward a few weeks and i foolishly thought i could enjoy a cold beer as "one wouldn't hurt right? WRONG" then followed almost 5 years since of drinking relatively heavily on a daily basis.
I realise my story is no different to most peoples but even on a selfish level i feel it helps me to tell similar minded people my story as most "normal" people don't see an issue for them anyway.
I'm now on day 4 and my detox has been very good apart from insomnia but i finally managed a full nights sleep into today and genuinely feel great, last time was harder for sure but realise this is a journey not a destination.
