My ACA Support Group
I have been going to an ACA group for a year and it has been a lifesaver. The kindness, love and understanding has been amazing.
I am going through a painful separation from an active alcoholic and so I have been attending more ACA meetings lately, sharing more, and reaching out for support and getting it like I never did from my family.
The group has buoyed my faith in humanity during a very difficult time and I am so grateful for them. They are also some of the funniest, smartest, loveliest people I've ever met.
I am grateful for that day I went to my first meeting. I'll never forget that day.
