Grateful for returning to a good job that opened back up and I was welcomed back with open arms.
Grateful to live where the weather is very stable.
Grateful for people that show acts of kindness - it all comes around.
Grateful for understanding friends.

Grateful for having been given a second chance in 1986 when I hit my bottom and went to AA (didn't get kicked out of the Army). That moment of grace led me to a life beyond my wildest imagination.

For over 30 yrs now, I have been paying back that second chance to every employer I've had since then, staying in AA, eventually getting food sober in OA, and staying in the Steps.
