On this Thanksgiving things we are grateful for ???

God having mercy on me
sobriety
family and friends
plenty of food today
house with a yard filled with animals
transportation so as to get to the turkey bird
money to buy gas and pay bills
a place High in the sky to look forward to for later.

Lets see:
My daughter
My quiet house
My dogs
Reservations for tonight
The big ole cuppa coffee in front of me
My growing faith in something greater than me

I'm grateful for friends and family and my critters. Especially grateful that today is one month since I found Jack.

Grateful for being sober this Thanksgiving. And looking forward towards that "food coma" soon, and of course the family, that goes without saying. (and the sister-in-law is half way decent this year )

It was nice to see my ex wife who I hadn't seen for many years at my daughter's recent wedding reception. My new wife of 10 years had never met her. Watching my ex and my wife together on the dance floor dancing together and smiling at each other -- did my sober heart good.

You know, when all the girls get out there and do the girl dance.

Us guys don't do that.

Although in sobriety I do have one mean move.

Talk about the "critters" and "dogs" hope it's okay to feed dogs turkey . My two were up with me at 5:00 a.m. getting the turkey in the oven (22 1/2 lbs). Everyone's belly is full today.
House is still full of family, and everyone is having fun. It's been one of the best Thanksgiving in the past few years.
