Grateful to reconnect with an old friend yesterday. Had to limit contact with her while she was in the midst of an abusive relationship. Wonderful to see she's so much healthier now!
Grateful I'm getting much better at setting boundaries with my RAD. Realize that even though she's been struggling lately it's up to her to figure out what she needs to do for herself. I can't become so enmeshed in her life anymore that I'm only okay if she is. Trying to be supportive at a distance, concentrating instead on my life & setting a good example in making healthy lifestyle choices.
Grateful I got the all clear on a medical procedure I had done last week. What a relief!

Grateful to wake up to 1 year of sobriety today
Grateful for ever day..good & bad the past year as its brought me today
Grateful for that very last day of drinking for whatever reasons i knew it had to stop
Grateful for my life
Grateful for the gratitude threads as a reminder & encouragement everyday
Grateful for the smile i shall wear all day no matter what

Grateful for the meeting last night.
Grateful I absorbed the idea of complete reliance on higher power to guide me and give me strength.
Grateful for all there is to do, to attempt, and to learn from.
Grateful I won't die if I make a mistake (unless it's jumping out of a plane without a parachute).
