Today I am grateful for household chores, because I still have a household to manage, because I said ENOUGH! to 'King Alcohol', because sober friends showed me a better life awaits.

Today I am grateful for another sober day. For a year without a drink. For my AA home group. For people agreeing to speak for me at the meeting I chair. For days outside volunteering on a farm and learning how to grow vegetables and flowers. For kind positive people in my life. A roof over my head. Meetings every day.

Today i am Grateful i made it to a HUGE meeting i have not been to in a long time... Grateful that i did not have to chair and that it was a very good meeting!

Today I am grateful to be alive, and was able to sleep a good eight hours. I'm also grateful to be home, and have eight days sober. AND, I reached out to my community young adult AA group and the leader contacted me right away to set me up with a sponsor, and she already called me. Looking forward to the upside of life. That's a great feeling for once!
