Today I am grateful that I spend more time being "present " rather than thinking about drinking. I am equally grateful that I found the strength and patience to allow myself to realize that it's possible,To Be, present.

I am grateful for a sober weekend (even though Sunday was so challenging!). I'm grateful that I woke up this morning clear headed and alert. I'm grateful for the wonder people on SR and the helpful insight I've been able to read and absorb that helped me get through yesterday. I'm grateful I have a Higher Power that stood by me and gave me strength! I'm grateful!

Grateful that I joined my family for Easter dinner yesterday instead of staying home like I had intended. More love in our lives is never a bad thing.

Grateful that the stress from my ex isn't making me crave alcohol after all

Grateful I have this place to lean on

Grateful it's light earlier in the mornings and I can take my dog for longer walks

Grateful for the cool weather and rain

Grateful for my day off to bake banana bread and go to yoga
