Grateful for the examples on SR that teach so much.
Grateful for my home group that anchors my Mondays in sobriety & recovery.

Soberwolf, the pain we experience from the loss of those we love is indescribable. I buried young Italians in the U.S. Marine Corps back in 1951.

Grateful that I'm up early, sober, not strung out, & ready for a long day in the Bronx.
Grateful to realize that many of my fears were learned from bad experiences born of self-sabotage -- if I stay sober, I have so much less to fear! Yay!

Grateful for today which is starting very early but appears to be painted a lot brighter than yesterday for no reason other than the passage of time and the grace of God in my heart.
