Grateful for Today
Wow - Thankgod I found these forums. I have 9 months and some change now clean off opiates/meth/alcohol. Reading some of these posts has reminded me just how bad my days were when I was using. They were absolutely hopeless, loveless, miserable, and dark-evil really. By my own efforts and the will of God here I am, sober, loved, hopefull, and so grateful. Grateful to have a wonderful loving support system, family, new friends, and this online community of like-minded individuals. Grateful for my sobriety and to have made it out. Grateful for a second chance. Grateful for this Sober Day. Thankyou God.
