Choices
Today, I am grateful for the choice that I made 3 years ago to start my life over! I hit rock bottom so hard that I was living on the streets. I am so grateful to my parents....they took me in and gave me the support and love that I very much needed to get my life right! I found the courage to take baby steps each day.....and every day! Slowly but surely my life began to change. With a lot of praying, meetings, family and friends I began to realize that there can be a life without drugs! It wasn't an easy road, but I was determined to succeed! Today, I am thankful for the sun, the moon, the flowers and the trees! And everything in between! I am thankful for the strength that my "higher power" has given me to become the person I am today..... And to make things better, I really like me!! Today...... I am just thankful for even being here to share my stories and to hopefully help someone else to become thankful too!
