yes and I have been to this place before

many times I had a record of my days sober

only to deceive myself yet again and drink

thinking that it would be different this time

yes, sure Mountainman -- keep an eye on the guy in the mirror

Everyday is a record but more importantly I think I have found a method, that as long as I keep doing it, with the help of God, I will be sober for the rest of my life

Today is a sober record for me.
Even after 8 years I'm still amazed and very grateful.
Let us all hang tight and stay sober today.

I wish a heartfelt congratulations to all here in each of their milestones. Thanks for sharing your accomplished length of time toward the better life.

Today is the 5th of August and I've now entered my fourth year.

Today is yet another record amount of sober days for me. A lady friend in AA with a couple years of sobriety shared that she had been thinking about drinking again. We had a nice long talk. If we are alcoholic drinking never works out for us.

Today is a record 915 days for me. I'm going to set a new record tomorrow, I believe.

I'm in my 6th month. This is the longest stretch of sobriety I've had since I was 15. I'm now 55.

Hi All
Newbie here and there is so much good stuff on SR it's hard to know where to start.
146 days sober which is unheard for me.
Right now I'm feeling quite exposed on holiday without normal routines but with the expected triggers, but God Willing I'll get to a meeting tomorrow

That's pretty cool jsm.

As I'm thinking about this thread it kind of stops me in my tracks.
Staying grateful for longterm sobriety.

Well, I was sober the first 13 years of my life. The most I ever strung together from age 14-43 was maybe 100 days. Now at 7+ years sober and feeling like that young kid again
