Grateful I'm not...
Throwing up blood in casualty.
Sleeping rough.
Trembling and shaking.
wondering how I got cut, bruised etc and if I hurt anyone.
SO F*****G ALONE ANYMORE...
And the funny thing was I was never alone because God was with me all the time
(In the style of a Sergeant-major) COME ON PEOPLE LETS KEEP IT IN THE DAY!!

hey tom,it works if yor work it,sucks if you don't!!no matter how
bad these meetings seem to be keep comming back! it gets better
as it goes on the more time you have staying clean and sober
the easyer it seems to get to stay dry. i heard i think on t.v. a great saying hear it goes it is hard to quit, but it is harder not to quit.! let me tell you i was a 23year partyer and it was hard to quit but if i did'nt i know that my famliy would have too buried me
cause i would of been dead!!
so just look up and say that you are glad that you stopped and your happy to be clean & sober for another 24 hrs.and if tomarrow i can stay clean for 60 minutes each hour and only 24 short hours i'll have another day.
think warm fuzzy thoughts.

Well, haven't we Americans been keeping the British up for about...oh, 60 years now??
Disclaimer: No offence to Germans that's half a century away and times have moved on. But you would be kicked in the arse if you said that at a Retired Serviceman's league (RSL). Most of those guys just can't forget the atrocities, and you can understand what they feel, without experiencing it first hand.
