I've been vexed by some of the posts on the other forums--folks lashing out at others, some displaying the thick-headedness that only an alcoholic or addict can, and sadly a few giving up on striving for a clean or sober life--so I am grateful to close my evening by coming here, reading about Carol's good news and everyone's heartfelt support for one another and their appreciation for where they are in their lives. Thanks, everyone.

Grateful to have many wonderful, supportive, generous people in my life. Grateful for sr. Grateful for beautiful weather today. Grateful to feel balanced and grateful to be able to talk myself out of negative thinking.

Grateful for a reminder of where I was living a year ago. (not a good place)
Grateful to be free today.
Grateful for the compassion, strength & humility that grew out of that experience.
Grateful for Carol & her news.
Grateful that I'm sober & so far holding it together on the business travel party circuit. Friday and Saturday look to be the toughest, I am grateful that this site is only as far away as my phone.

Dog gone it Carl I'd be grateful to see you here everynight. 
Grateful to have brought my database project to a close today. Will be kicking everything over to the new funtionality about 4AM tomorrow morning.
Grateful to only have one more day that I have to be up before the birds.
Grateful tomorrow is Friday and I get to see all my homies (HG) at 6:30PM tomorrow. I love my peeps.
Grateful to have had another successful week with my friends here on SR.

Grateful that I found gas at 3.20 per gallon today..talked to a guy that was in California last week and at one place it was 5.25 already..

Grateful bf and I were able to work out a big argument today . . . grateful we almost always manage to patch things up fairly quickly. Grateful for unexpected good news. Had a lot of it lately. Grateful tomorrow is April, my favorite month!

Grateful another month has almost gone by and we are that much closer to June so I can fly home to B-Town and visit family, maybe check out a Sox's game.
Glad weekend is almost here I need a break from looking for work. I think they should pay us for all the hard work it takes to look and keep getting rejected. Who they are I have no clue?
