I'm grateful for you ((LB)) , I wouldn't have understood the need to hit meetings on a daily basis if it wasn't for you.

Tonight I went to a meeting, and got officially voted in as a HIPI sub comittee member-
(meeting list cordinator). A small NA position but a start.

I am very grateful for this.

Emmer, that's great - it's really important to get a service position early on..gets you in the thick of NA. There's a saying that if you stick around the edges, you'll fall off...or another one is something about wilder beast get the zebras on the outside of the pack...can't recall that one exactly but I'm sure you get my drift...

The fellow addicts who were questioning me prior to taking a vote asked me about my clean time (your supposed to have 1 year clean).
Thankfully they never asked how much clean time I have ( 3 weeks) lol.
The other addcits I was with, said it would have been ok because they trusted me, anyway.

They asked me several questions and my heart was thumping hard but I keep my cool and it turned ok fine and I'm very grateful for that.
