Gratitude for Support
Gratitude for Support
I'm grateful for having such a supporting and loving family. I don't know where I would be if I didn't have them during my particularly low points, and hell even the high ones. They've shown me that they'll love me no matter what, but what is most important is that I love myself and am able to live with myself each day. Without them, I know I would have never made the decison to go to AA.
I'm grateful for the program itself. I couldn't have made it to day 76 of sobriety without the people in those rooms and their constant support.
And of course, I'm grateful that my love for God still resides inside myself, despite all those dark times...because if I weren't able to find him, I would not be where I am today...sober, happy, grateful, alive.
