My sponsor has been telling me that I need to do a gratitude list daily. I have not been good about doing that - and need to get into the habit. So no better time than the present, eh?

I'm grateful for: my sobriety today, that I'm able to physically move freely (which allowed me to take my first golf lesson), for my daughter's welcome home this evening, for the sunshine today, for my body's ability to heal (I just had my widom teeth out), for this website......

Gratitude keeps us focused on the here and now as well as keeping us focused on the positive. Your sponsor sounds like she knows what she's talkin' about. No matter what our struggles there is still so much to be grateful for if we get into that space.
