OT: This Made My Night
Once I knew things were going well with the new lady in my life, I felt confident I could book us reservations for dinner the evening before Valentine's Day. Personally, I'm not a fan of the holiday itself. But I took it as an opportunity to do something special for her.
So I made reservations for two at Morton's, which is located on Boston's waterfront. And I didn't tell her where we were going, only that she had to dress up.
I get dressed up, pick her up (and she looked awesome), and head into the city. She's clueless as to where we're going...
...until I pull up to the valet station in front of Morton's. She looks over at the entrance and simply says in disbelief:
Nooooo...
I'm grinning ear to ear like an idiot. We get out of the car, and she goes:
You're taking me to the best steakhouse in Boston.
Yes.
We had a ball. The food was outstanding. And she was pinching herself the whole time.
Anyways, wanted to share. Life is a lot of fun these days.

What a wonderful share! LOL I have been married for 26 years, so my hubby said "what do you want to do for Valentine's?" I said "Nothing!" He brought me a dozen chocolate covered strawberries and we are having carne asada and fresh grilled veggies while watching the Allstar game
Happy Valentines Day Zoso!
Happy Valentines Day Zoso!
Sounds like a wonderful night, one of those special times that you will always remember. You deserve happiness, Zoso, I am so glad you found it and just for the record, I think I like this special lady too.
Mr. Ann and I are married 46 year, he took me for Valentines lunch and we ordered in Chinese for dinner and had a lazy splendid day. He thinks he is off the hook....but now I am craving a fabulous steak and will tell him it's all Zoso's fault.
Thank you for sharing love gone right, Zoso. It's a nice story and I hope it has a "happy ever after".
Hugs
